BIO

Hi! My name is Emily Cooper, M.S., and I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC). I earned my Master’s Degree from Marquette University and I hold an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Performance Psychology.

As a former collegiate athlete and current clinician working within University of Michigan Athletics, I understand the unique pressures that can come with constantly striving to perform, achieve, and hold everything together.

My Approach

Drawing from both my clinical training and experience working within collegiate athletics, I integrate self-compassion, evidence-based approaches, and sustainable coping strategies to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and aligned in their roles and every day lives.

I specialize in supporting high-achieving individuals, athletes, and those navigating anxiety, burnout, body image concerns, and challenges related to self-worth, identity roles, and life transitions.
